Are you a technical-commercial professional with a technical background and an interest in climate technology? Someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships and diving into the finer details of projects for clients? Purpose of the role
You are responsible for achieving the commercial objectives within your region and managing your own customer portfolio, including the acquisition of new clients. Prospecting and project-based acquisition are also part of your responsibilities. You increase awareness and knowledge of the Belparts concepts, products and solutions within your market, helping to strengthen their long-term adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Managing, strengthening and expanding your customer portfolio to achieve commercial targets
- Following up on construction projects and converting opportunities into project orders
- Supporting targeted communication and marketing initiatives
- Maintaining practical technical knowledge to advise customers on the most suitable solutions
- Actively participating in internal sales meetings
- Regularly reporting on activities and progress
Competencies
- A completed higher professional education degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, combined with experience in a similar technical-commercial role within the HVAC industry, enabling you to provide customers with technically sound solutions
- Relevant application knowledge
- Dutch proficiency, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English or German is considered a strong advantage
- Solid knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with SAP Business One is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
Personality
You are a driven and results-oriented sales professional who builds strong long-term customer relationships through solid technical and product knowledge. You are independent and self-managing, making a field sales role with remote work, and optionally working from the office in Gorinchem, a perfect fit for you.
You communicate clearly and confidently, with strong persuasive skills. You work in a structured way and follow up on your accounts carefully and accurately. You are flexible, eager to learn and integrate easily into the existing team.
