Condensation on chilled ceilings can cause damage, comfort issues and malfunctions in HVAC systems. With the QH.CS and QH.CS.02 condensation sensors, BELPARTS introduces a cost-effective dew point monitor designed to help prevent condensation at an early stage.
Protection against condensation in chilled ceiling systems
The QH.CS is designed for applications where condensation risks are present, such as chilled ceiling systems and other water-based cooling installations. The condensation sensor continuously monitors the dew point and switches a relay when condensation is about to occur. This allows the chilled water flow to be interrupted or the water temperature to be increased before problems arise.
Adjustable relay and fast response time
Thanks to the adjustable relay, the switching point can be precisely set to the required relative humidity level. The aluminium condensation sensor strip ensures a fast response time, while LED indicators clearly show the operating status.
Two versions for flexible installation
The condensation sensor is available in two versions:
- QH.CS with integrated sensor
- QH.CS.02 with external sensor via sensor cable
This makes the solution suitable for a wide range of installation scenarios.
Easy installation and reliable performance
Operating on 18-30 V AC/DC, featuring an IP65 enclosure and tool-free removable spring terminals, the QH.CS is easy to install and well suited for demanding HVAC environments.
